Can Pacific Tool assist with tooling requirements stated in Boeing Manuals and Service Bulletins?

For all Boeing airplane programs (727, 737, 747, 757, 767, 777, and 787), we have access to all manuals and service bulletins. We can help you identify and select the correct tool.

Are Pacific Tool, Boeing STs, and UTs in conformance with AS9110C (MRO), AS9120 (Distributor)?

Yes. Our parts are officially licensed by Boeing, conform to all Boeing requirements, and are supplied in accordance with all AS91XX Quality Management System clauses concerning unapproved or counterfeit parts as defined below:

AS9110C (MRO)

Section 3.17 (Unapproved Part) A part that was not produced or maintained in accordance with approved or acceptable data and applicable statutory, regulatory, and customer requirements. Section 3.7 (Counterfeit Part) An unauthorized copy, imitation, substitute, or modified part (e.g., material, part, component), which is knowingly misrepresented as a specified genuine part of an original or authorized manufacturer.

AS9120C (Distributor)

Section 3.17 (Unapproved Part) A part that was not produced or maintained in accordance with approved or acceptable data and applicable statutory, regulatory, and customer requirements. Section 3.7 (Counterfeit Part) An unauthorized copy, imitation, substitute, or modified part (e.g., material, part, component), which is knowingly misrepresented as a specified genuine part of an original or authorized manufacturer.

Stocking

Pacific Tool stocks over 10,000 different specialized aerospace tools. We tailor our stocking programs to reduce lead times and capital requirements. Typical lead times for stocked parts vary from 4 to 72 hours.

We provide stocking programs for all Boeing locations and other customers worldwide. We integrate into Boeing’s enterprise-wide information systems for real-time visibility of part inventory levels.

We are currently integrated into Boeing and the Cribmaster application, allowing for real-time inventory visibility. We can securely transfer real-time data into most customers’ databases.

How do I establish a stocking program with Pacific Tool?

E-mail or call to set up a phone or face-to-face meeting. With over 10,000 parts in stock, we can customize a program. With a complete catalog, we can address entire tooling categories (e.g. rivet sets, specialty and custom wrenches, etc.)

Make-to-Print Tooling & Flying Parts

Pacific Tool can produce tooling and flying parts to your specifications. Our primary focus is on specialized aerospace tools and Boeing Standard Tools, but we can also manufacture for other applications such as automotive, commercial, and medical.

We manufacture about 1,000 new make-to-print parts per year. Our engineering team can also advise on material selection and design for manufacturability.

Does Pacific Tool offer make-to-print tooling?

Yes, you can submit a drawing to Pacific Tool for quotation. For proprietary tools or parts, please submit an NDA or request a copy of our NDA prior to submission. All correspondence and drawings will be kept strictly confidential.

We are AS9100:2016 Compliant, ISO9001:2015 Compliant, and Boeing Delegated Inspection Authority.

Automation Tooling

Pacific Tool’s core competency lies in providing a vast array of specialized tooling for automation. Specialized tooling includes bolt inserter assemblies, bolt drivers, hammer assemblies, swaging dies, pressure foot bushings, nosepiece assemblies, rivet anvil assemblies, rivet fingers, rivet dies, micro-stop shavers, temporary fasteners, and many more.

We provide over 1,000 different specialized tools for ElectroImpact ASAT 1-6 and Gemcor Drivematic machines for Boeing’s 737, 747, 777, and 787 programs.

Prototyping & Testing

Pacific Tool provides prototyping and testing for new and existing specialized tooling, including automation tooling for ElectroImpact, Gemcor, Broetje, and other machines. 

We produce over 2,500 rivet dies for every powered tool, as well as for automation. In conjunction with Boeing Research & Technology and ElectroImpact, Pacific Tool performed testing on rivet dies designed and manufactured for the latest version of the ElectroImpact ASAT for the 737 program.
